Marinade For Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 3 Tblsps. Whole Grain Mustard Don't substitute here!
  • 3 to 5 Cloves of Garlic (Peeled and Minced)
  • 1 Lemon (Juice Only)
  • 2 Tblsps. Brown Sugar Maybe even less next time!
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 6 Tblsps. Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a ziplock bag and add chicken pieces. Coat evenly and place on a rimmed plate in the refrigerator for at least several hours or overnight. When ready to grill, pour marinade into a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil for a few minutes to kill any bacteria. DO NOT SKIP THIS BOILING STEP. Then turn heat down to simmer to reduce the sauce. Set aside. Next, grill chicken pieces until fully cooked and brush with the boiled sauce, OR place the partially cooked chicken in a 350 degree oven to finish cooking. Drizzle sauce over the chicken pieces in the oven or when serving. ENJOY!
