Sometimes…even cooks who LOVE to cook just need a break…and tonight that was ME! So here was our dinner tonight…along with a veggie packed salad for hubby…
A Mama Cozzi’s Pizza from Aldi Grocery Store…
But, of course, I had to “doctor it up” as my Mom used to say…
So I added thinly sliced sweet red and yellow peppers, sliced cherry tomatoes and slivers of onion to the crust. Then I added an extra sprinkle of shredded cheese and some grated Parmesan cheese to top it off.
After I removed it from the oven, I topped it with some slivers of both green and purple basil…
And another sprinkle of Parmesan cheese…
(Not bad for a RARE night when the cook was on strike!)
