Allow me digress…I still have several FLORIDA stops to share with you on our trip North. (Apparently those Zipper Peas in Alabama were a highlight in my subconscious…) So allow me to share several more “highlights” in Central and Northern Florida!
We got a VERY early start as we headed North after our winter in Fort Lauderdale, and breakfast time found us in Okeechobee, Florida. And we stumbled upon this CUTE little restaurant…
When was the last time YOU found a delicious breakfast for $3.99??
A sweet little “Grandma” was the only waitress in the busy place…and she could work CIRCLES around most servers today!
The food was great…the coffee was delicious…and before we knew it we were back on the road. Another slice of Americana…So glad we found it!
