Corn on the Cob…Let Your Microwave Do All The Work!

July 30, 2014 by Meemaw Leave a Comment

If you’re looking for a fast and mess-free way to prepare corn on the cob…look no further!

Corn On The Cob | Meemaw Eats

Simply peel the husks from the ears. Then wash each ear and brush the corn to remove all the pesky silk strands from each cob.  Then place the still damp ears on a plate.  Cover the plate loosely with plastic wrap and put it in the microwave.  Cook it on HIGH  for approximately two minutes per ear.  That’s it.  Done.

And try making a compound butter to spread on each ear. Here’s how to make it.

Just soften a stick of butter and stir in some chopped fresh herbs…or maybe some grated parmesan cheese. Let your imagination run wild!
